The control room was measured by Genelec and shows a flat frequency response. We took great care in choosing the right material and components in building the control room to be reliable mixing environment. It is a "room within a room" construction and it has a floating floor. We also took a great care of designing a spacious working environment that has the right combination of colours and feel.

The main monitors are white Genelec 8240's and Yamaha's NS 10M's (the originals). The ergonomy of the mixing station is very comfortable with Zaor's white iDesk that also has all the carefully chosen rack equipment very close by for operation.

As explained elsewhere, this studio uses a hybrid system in which best components were chosen for the signal path. Avid Digidesign Native Pro Tools 10 HD with 3.2 GHz Mac Pro Quad Core with 16 Gigabytes of memory being the heart of the system. In the last 10 years the advancement of digital plugins has been great. We chose the best plugins for our mixing purposes. However, since we all come from analogue world, we think that the combination of both worlds is the best thing. We chose to bring 16 channels (or stems) from Pro Tools 10 HD to Folcrom passive box from which the signal enters into Cranesong Flamingo stereo mic preamp. From there it goes to Cranesong HEDD 192 digital converter, which is one of the best in the market. The whole system has also been clocked to the HEDD. The final signal path returns to Pro Tools 10 HD via AES/EBU. As a main AD/DA converter we use modified Digidesign's 192 converter, which we think sounds better than the new AVID converters. We use AVID Omni mainly for monitoring purposes.

Although our studio is used mainly for mixing and mastering, it possible to record vocals, acoustic guitars and bass. We are using Manley Reference Cardioid tube microphone with original Telefunken tube.

All equipment in our studio has been carefully chosen to this particular mixing environment. It complements the new mixing philosophy explained in "history" section. It is also a result of a painstaking process of testing a large number of different equipment and combinations thereof. We believe that with our selection of equipment, we are able to offer a world class mixes and mastering to our clients which vary from beginner artists/bands to record companies all over the world. This added to the experience of 20 years in recording and producing finishes the palette.
